Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala aims for Magesi FC scalp to return to form: I hope I will score in this game as my form has been down

Mduduzi Shabalala has set Kaizer Chiefs’ game against Magesi FC as the one he can launch his return to form.

The Amakhosi midfielder has struggled for form lately and that has also seen him drop out of the Bafana Bafana picture.

He also missed the Soweto derby where he was expected to lead Chiefs attack.

But now the nippy midfielder has his eyes set on making an impression against Magesi FC tomorrow at Moses Mabhida Stadium in a Betway Premiership match.
“I haven’t been at my best form, so I’m trying my best to be back, and hopefully, I hope to be back on the scoresheet in our next game,” Shabalala said.

The 22-year-old said Chiefs now treat all their games like a cup final as they plan to finish on the third position in the PSL standings.

“Obviously, we want to win all of our games. We take it one game at a time, and we’re looking forward to each and every game. We take it as a cup final,” he said.

The game in Durban starts at 6pm.
