The Premier League's top clubs are locked in a battle for French Lille player Jonathan David and his employer has already decided on a price for him.

According to 90min, the Dogs have made concessions to Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and West Ham and have reduced the price of the Canadian from £45m to £30m. The reason for this is the fact that the 24-year-old striker refused to renew his contract with the club, which expires in 2025.

Therefore, Lille decided to use almost the last opportunity to sell him and get some money from him. Buyers are aware that a deal could be done for under £30m, and potentially £10m less if a guaranteed fee structure is offered.

David played in 47 games for Lille last season, in which he scored 26 goals and gave nine assists.
