Kaizer Chiefs' Reeve Frosler on his return from injury: It is good to be back as no player enjoys being out of the field and I am not different
Reeve Frosler is both relieved and pleased to be back on the field of play for Kaizer Chiefs having been out with injury since October.
The Amakhosi right-back has returned with a level up on his game as he claimed his position from Thabiso Monyane, who has also been impressive.
Having played on Saturday night against Polokwane City, Frosler said he is happy to be back on the right channel of Chiefs attack.
“Being out injured is no fun for any player and I’m no different,” said Frosler.
“It was difficult from that point of view, but turned out to be good timing because my wife and I were expecting our second-born and being at home, I could help her around the house.
“It was a great feeling to get back on the field again, though.”
Against Magesi FC in Chiefs’ 4-1 win, Frosler provided assists to Kanyisa Mayo and Mduduzi Shabalala for their goals after being introduced in the second half.
“It always nice to make a contribution,” he further said.
“The good first half performance of the team made it easy for me to come in. We were two goals up already and playing on the front foot.”
