Kaizer Chiefs defender Zitha Kwinika on their match against fierce rivals Orlando Pirates today: We do not have any goalscoring crisis at Chiefs

There is no goalscoring crisis at Kaizer Chiefs.

The team just needs to concert the chances they create in their PSL games.

This is the view of defender Zitha Kwinika as Chiefs face arch-rivals Orlando Pirates this afternoon in a Betway Premiership match.

“Let’s not say a crisis,” he said at the Soweto Derby press conference in Nasrec in Johannesburg.

“It’s a matter of saying, how do they get to the point of converting the chances we create, because we create a whole lot of chances, and I’m happy with that.

“It’s better to create chances than not create them at all. If we convert as much as we create, we give ourselves an opportunity to win games. Things will turn, and we will score more than two goals.”

Chiefs have not been scoring and this has cost them games which seemed easy to win in previous PSL encounters.

Kwinika is hoping his team’s strikers do not flatter to deceive today against Orlando Pirates as the three points at stake may change their season for the worst.

They are forth on the PSL standings and slowly losing ground with pacesetters in the title chase.

Mamelodi Sundowns are on top with 38 points with Pirates second with also 38 while Chiefs only have 30.

So this means they need a win at all cost to remain in contention of the Betway Premiership title.

The match starts at 3.30pm at FNB Stadium today.
