Juventus needs a leader from Atalanta

After an outstanding season by Atalanta, one of their key players, Gasperini, has caught the eye of Juventus in Turin. The midfielder they're interested in is Teun Koopmeiners.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, "the Old Lady" made an offer to Atalanta amounting to 40 million euros plus 5 million in bonuses. However, the current Europa League champions were not satisfied with such an offer, valuing the 26-year-old Dutchman at a minimum of 60 million euros.

Negotiations are at an advanced stage, and there is a high probability of this transfer happening. Earlier reports indicated that Koopmeiners is one of Juventus' top priorities for the summer transfer window.

In the current season, the Dutch midfielder scored 15 goals and provided 7 assists in 49 matches. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 40 million euros, and his contract with Atalanta runs until the summer of 2027.
