During his time with the Elephants, Seri featured in five Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, winning the continental title once, while also representing Ivory Coast at the FIFA World Cup.
In his farewell message, the experienced midfielder thanked everyone who played a role in his international career and reflected on what it meant to wear the national colours.
Glory to God 🙌🏾
After 11 years with the national team, five Africa Cup of Nations tournaments—including one title—and a FIFA World Cup appearance, I am announcing today the end of my international career.
Representing Côte d’Ivoire has been both an honor and a responsibility, one that I have always carried with pride.
I would like to thank my teammates, the coaching and support staff, the Football Federation, and all Ivorians who love and understand football for their trust and unwavering support.
Now, it is time to focus on the next chapter of my club career with the same determination.
Thank you for everything.
