Aïssa Mandi returns to La Liga

The Algerian international has signed for Levante until June 2028.

Aïssa Mandi returns to the Spanish league after leaving it in 2024. A free agent since his contract at Lille expired, the 34-year-old Algerian defender has chosen Levante to relaunch his career.

The Algerian international, who played in the 2026 World Cup with Algeria's Fennecs, has signed a two-season contract with the Spanish club. Drawing on his wealth of experience, Aïssa Mandi will represent Levante until June 2028.

Aïssa Mandi is returning to a league in which he has played for several seasons. The 34-year-old defender previously played for Real Betis and Villarreal.
