It's already very soon. Ancelotti has named the exact date of Courtois' return

Today, Real Madrid's primary goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois resumed training with the team's main group. His return to the field is expected very soon.

During the press conference ahead of the match against Real Sociedad, Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti even mentioned a specific date for Courtois' return to the field.

"Thibaut Courtois feels good and he could play against Cadiz. He’s doing well with his recovery", Ancelotti said, as quoted by Marca.

The match against Cádiz will take place next Saturday, May 4th.

Just a reminder, Courtois has not played a single match this season. Initially, he suffered a cruciate ligament tear, and during his recovery, he also had a meniscus injury.

In Courtois' absence, Chelsea's loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga initially became Real Madrid's main goalkeeper, but later, the competition was won by Andriy Lunin.
