It has been revealed whether Jan Oblak will play in the Champions League match against Barcelona
Atletico Madrid has provided clarity regarding the availability of their first-choice goalkeeper for the upcoming clash against Barcelona.
Details: The club has confirmed that their main goalkeeper and team captain, Jan Oblak, will not be able to participate in tomorrow's game. The Slovenian shot-stopper was not included in the squad traveling to Catalonia. He is still recovering from the injury sustained back on March 14.
For Diego Simeone, Oblak's absence in a match of this magnitude is a real blow. Jan has repeatedly been the hero in clashes with Barcelona, pulling off incredible saves.
As a result, the goalkeeping duties for the Madrid side will fall to Argentine keeper Juan Musso tomorrow evening. This could mark his fifth consecutive appearance for Los Colchoneros.
Reminder: Barcelona striker Ferran Torres has been put up for transfer. Hansi Flick no longer counts on him.
