It has become clear whether PSG star will recover in time for the Champions League final against Arsenal
PSG head coach Luis Enrique is facing a massive headache ahead of the crucial Champions League showdown against London’s Arsenal.
Details: According to L’Équipe, Parisian star right-back Achraf Hakimi is unlikely to make the starting lineup for this pivotal match. His physical condition is deemed insufficient for him to play from the opening whistle.
The Moroccan’s problems have persisted since last month. Hakimi suffered a serious injury in the high-octane semi-final clash against Bayern Munich. Since then, the right wing-back hasn’t spent a single minute on the pitch, and his accelerated rehabilitation for the clash with the Gunners hasn’t been fully successful — the medical staff are unwilling to risk the health of their key defender.
It’s worth noting that the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, at 18:00 Central European Time.
Reminder: Arsenal tried to keep Thomas Partey despite rape allegations.
