István Kovács appointed referee for Champions League final between Inter and PSG

The main event of May will undoubtedly be the Champions League final between PSG and Inter. And the name of the referee who will officiate this high-stakes clash has already been revealed.
Details: Romanian referee István Kovács has been officially appointed as the main referee for the match.
This won't be the first European final in Kovács' career. He previously took charge of last year’s Europa League final between Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen (3-0).
Kovács also officiated the inaugural Europa Conference League final in the 2021/22 season, where Roma faced Feyenoord (1-0).
In this season’s Champions League, Kovács has already crossed paths with PSG twice: the second leg of the round of 16 against Liverpool (1-0), as well as a group stage encounter against Bayern (0-1). He was also in charge of Inter’s group stage match against Arsenal (1-0).
Reminder: Earlier, it was revealed how much Inter’s players will receive in bonuses should they win the Champions League.
