Francesco Acerbi chose not to abandon his superstitions for the season's biggest match. The Inter central defender stepped onto the pitch for the Champions League final against PSG wearing the same boots with a torn toe that brought him luck in the semifinal against Barcelona, where he netted a crucial goal.

Although Acerbi had donned new footwear in the Serie A match against Torino, he dug out his 'lucky' boots for the final in Munich—complete with that signature hole at the toe. The boots were spotted in the team's dressing room before the game, and the defender even warmed up in them ahead of kickoff.
