If Arbeloa leaves. Pérez wants to see Julian Nagelsmann at the helm of Real Madrid
Real Madrid is already mapping out scenarios for next season. The future of head coach Álvaro Arbeloa remains uncertain, and should he depart, the club's management is prepared to activate an alternative plan.
According to Defensa Central, club president Florentino Pérez, along with CEO José Ángel Sánchez, are weighing up possible developments. If Arbeloa does not continue, Real may opt for what is being called the 'German route.' However, the likes of Jürgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel are reportedly not being considered as priority candidates.
The main target in Madrid is said to be Julian Nagelsmann. The current contract of the German manager with the national federation runs until 2028, but much will depend on his plans after the upcoming World Cup. The club believes that, should the coach express interest, the DFB could be open to negotiations.
