Details: After Atlético Madrid's 3-1 defeat to Barcelona in Matchday 15 of La Liga, Atlético head coach Diego Simeone shared his impressions of the 28-year-old Blaugrana midfielder Vitinha's performance.

Simeone believes that the level Vitinha is showing deserves the Ballon d'Or:
"I don't understand why Raphinha didn't win the Ballon d'Or.
He's an incredible player. He can play anywhere—on the wing, in midfield, as a forward, or even as a full-back.He can score, he can create chances, he presses and covers ground. I love Raphinha," Simeone admitted.
Raphinha only finished fifth in the Ballon d'Or voting, despite playing 57 matches last season, scoring 34 goals and providing 26 assists as a midfielder.
