Today, Frenkie de Jong completed a full training session at the team’s training center.
Details: According to Diario AS, Frenkie de Jong is back in training after missing the match against Alaves due to family problems and is guaranteed to feature for Barcelona in the game against Atletico.
It is reported that de Jong’s return will allow Hansi Flick to reunite his customary midfield trio with Pedri and Dani Olmo.
On the downside, Ronald Araujo will not be fit for the clash with the Colchoneros. The Uruguayan is sidelined with a viral infection. Araujo is expected to be ready for the match against Betis on December 6.
It should be noted that Barcelona will play Atletico at home on Tuesday, December 2. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 Central European Time.
Reminder: After the match against Alaves, Barcelona’s head coach Hansi Flick looked very downcast despite the Blaugrana’s victory – he was consoled by Raphinha.
