Barcelona defeated Atlético Madrid 3-1 in Matchday 19 of La Liga, but two unfortunate incidents occurred: Olmo’s injury and Pedri’s substitution. Flick has now clarified the situation.
Details: Speaking after the game, Barcelona’s head coach confirmed that Pedri, like Raphinha, is fine. They were substituted in the second half as a precaution following minor knocks, allowing them to rest and avoid overexertion. Dani Olmo, however, has a shoulder injury.
Quote: “Pedri is fine, he’s just a little tired. As for Dani Olmo, he has a shoulder injury, so we’ll see,” Flick said.
By the way, just minutes after kickoff, midfielder Johnny Cardoso picked up an injury. He was unable to continue and left the field, with Koke coming on in his place.
Reminder: Our team has prepared a new quiz ahead of the clash between Atlético and Barcelona. The rules are simple: name all the players who have worn the shirts of both Los Colchoneros and the Blaugrana. Can you set the top score?
