Hervé Renard unveils the Ivory Coast squad for the upcoming international break
Three matches are scheduled for the Elephants from 24 September to 3 October 2026.
Head coach Hervé Renard has selected 24 players to face Ghana and Somalia in the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, as well as the international friendly against Cameroon. The French coach revealed the squad on Wednesday 16 September during a press conference.
It is this squad that will take on Ghana on Thursday 24 September at the Stade de la Paix in Bouaké on the first matchday of the qualifiers. The Ivorians will then face Somalia on 29 September at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium.
The friendly match scheduled against the Indomitable Lions on 3 October at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium will bring the Elephants’ international break to a close.
