Here we go! Arne Slot will become the new head coach of Liverpool in the upcoming season

Liverpool has determined its new coach for the next season, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

In the upcoming season, Liverpool will be coached by Slovakian specialist Arne Slot. Liverpool managed to reach an agreement with Feyenoord and finalize the contract details with Arne Slot.

Arne Slot was appointed as the head coach of AZ in the summer of 2019, following the departure of van den Brom. In his first season as head coach, he led the team to the runners-up position in the Eredivisie in the 2019/20 season, which was their best result since the victorious 2008/09 season.

On December 15, 2020, he was appointed as the head coach of Dutch club Feyenoord, starting from the 2021-22 season. He guided the club to the final of the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League, where on May 25 in Tirana, the team lost to AS Roma with a score of 0:1.

Earlier reports indicated that Feyenoord rejected Liverpool's initial offer for Slot. Previously, Sporting's head coach Ruben Amorim was considered the frontrunner for the Liverpool head coach position, but in recent days, the club decided against this option.

Under Slot's leadership this season, Feyenoord won the KNVB Cup, and in the previous season, they triumphed in the Eredivisie.
