Yesterday in Cameroon, at the age of 38, former national team midfielder Landry N'Guemo tragically passed away.

Local media reports indicate that N'Guemo died in a car accident in the capital, Yaoundé. The former midfielder's car collided with a truck. Unfortunately, by the time medical personnel arrived at the scene, the athlete was already deceased.

N'Guemo represented Cameroon at the 2010 and 2014 World Cups. He played a total of 42 matches and scored 3 goals for the "Indomitable Lions."

At the club level, N'Guemo played for Celtic, Nancy, Bordeaux, Saint-Étienne, Kayserispor, and Akhisar. In Ligue 1 alone, he made 208 appearances, scored 7 goals, and provided 7 assists.

Since the summer of 2021, N'Guemo had been the head coach of Nancy U-19.
