Former AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli may take charge of Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, according to reputable insider Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian tactician is reportedly one of the top three candidates for the managerial position at the Saudi team, with current manager Marcelo Gallardo set to depart.

The 58-year-old Pioli led Milan from October 2019 until the end of the last season. Under his guidance, the team won Serie A in the 2021/22 season and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

In the 2023/24 season, Milan finished second in Serie A under Pioli, trailing Inter by 19 points.

Earlier reported, that Real Madrid captain is close to a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.
