Real Madrid captain is close to a move to a Saudi Arabian club

Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez is close to a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad. This is reported by soccer insider Fabrizio Romano.

It is noted that since the decision to leave Real Madrid in April, Nacho did not want to consider any offers from European clubs. He has not even considered formal offers.

For the Spanish defender in Europe there is only one club - Real Madrid and nothing else. However, he is now leaning towards a move to Saudi Arabia.

In the completed season, Nacho played 45 matches for the "cream" in all tournaments. His contract with the club expired at the end of the season.

Earlier, it was reported that Real Madrid offered the experienced defender a new contract, and he took time to make a decision before the end of Euro 2024.
