Finally! Will Carrick be sacked after Chelsea? Here's the answer
Michael Carrick has reportedly received some welcome news ahead of Manchester United's crucial Premier League clash against Chelsea.
Details: According to Touchline on X, Manchester United will not dismiss Michael Carrick immediately, even if the Red Devils suffer another defeat against Chelsea today. Club officials would prefer to wait until the upcoming international break before making any potential decisions regarding the English coach's future.
This development comes amid a serious crisis at Old Trafford. Manchester United have gone eight consecutive matches without a victory in all competitions, with their latest Premier League outing ending in a humiliating 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth.
Earlier this week, Sky Sports reported that director of football Jason Wilcox and chief executive Omar Berrada had discussed Carrick's future. However, the club ultimately decided to give the manager another opportunity to turn things around.
It is worth noting that Manchester United currently sit 16th in the Premier League with just seven points from eight matches, only one point above the relegation zone. The November international break begins after their league clash with Aston Villa on November 8.
Reminder: Peace in the dressing room! Manchester United extinguish internal conflict ahead of Chelsea clash
