Ferran Torres simply cannot stop scoring since his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Details: The 26-year-old Spanish forward continued his remarkable scoring run in the Ligue 1 Matchday 5 clash against Marseille. Torres started the French Classique on the bench, but after coming on in the second half, he needed just seven minutes to find the back of the net. The Spaniard has now scored an incredible seven goals in his first six appearances for PSG.
Luis Enrique introduced Torres in the 59th minute, replacing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Just seven minutes later, in the 66th minute, the Spanish international opened the scoring at the Stade Vélodrome. Désiré Doué delivered a cross into the penalty area, where Torres timed his run perfectly and headed the ball past Marseille goalkeeper Jeffrey de Lange.
The goal was another demonstration of the striker's impressive form since joining the Parisian club. Despite starting one of the biggest matches in French football among the substitutes, Torres made an immediate impact and put PSG ahead against their fierce rivals.
It is worth noting that Torres also scored the winning goal in PSG's previous Ligue 1 encounter against Brest on September 13. The Spaniard found the net in the fifth minute of that match, securing a 1-0 victory for the Parisians. He had scored six goals in five appearances before facing Marseille, and his latest strike has taken his tally to seven in six games.
