When it seemed the score would remain locked at 1-1, Egypt's talisman, 33-year-old Mohamed Salah, stepped up. With sheer brilliance, he slotted the ball precisely into the bottom right corner, making it 2-1.
That proved to be the winning goal, as Egypt secured all three points. Once again, Salah showed why he is the undisputed leader and king of the Egyptian national team!
Next up in AFCON, Egypt will face another group favorite—South Africa. The match is set for December 26.
