Not only did the Cremonese goalkeeper suffer, but the perpetrator himself was also injured.

Details: According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Cremona police were able to identify the Inter fan who threw a flare at the Cremonese goalkeeper during yesterday’s Serie A Matchday 23 clash.

In the 50th minute, Cremonese goalkeeper Emil Audero collapsed on the pitch after a powerful flare explosion, hurled by an Inter supporter. Police reported that the offender was apprehended and suffered a severe hand injury, losing three fingers after mishandling the flare. The unfortunate fan was immediately hospitalized, and once released, will be arrested by police for further investigation.

As for Inter, the Italian football federation may punish the Nerazzurri not only with a fine but also by closing the "Curva Nord" section at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

The match itself ended with a 2-0 victory for Inter, thanks to goals from Lautaro Martínez and Zieliński.

Reminder: Inter submit a transfer offer for Perišić from PSV
