Fadlu Davids warns Mamelodi Sundowns: It will not be easy for them in Morocco for the second leg
The Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Morocco is not for the faint hearted.
It is not for cowards.
It is a stadium for the strong and those who can stand on their own.
This is Fadlu Davids' warning to his compatriots in Mamelodi Sundowns who will be visiting a sold out Prince Moulay Abdellah this Sunday.
The Brazilians will go into this Caf Champions League second leg final with a slender 1-0 lead over their opponents in ASFAR.
As much as Miguel Cardoso's troops head to North Africa with Aubrey Modiba goal, Davids, who is in charge of Moroccan giants, Raja Casablanca said that venue is not for the weak.
“It’s not going to be easy for Sundowns just to walk over them. But I think away from home, Sundowns will just have to manage the results because playing here in front of their fans is very intimidating. They can be loud," Davids told iDiskiTimes publication.
“They can make it a very hostile situation. Playing in their home ground, in front of their fans, can be extremely hostile, extremely intimidating for the players.”
It will be interesting if Sundowns can return home victorious but for them to do that they must heed Davids' intel on their opponents.
