Miguel Cardoso says he is proud of Mamelodi Sundowns players for winning the Caf Champions League trophy
The coach said this trophy has been long overdue for the Brazilians
Miguel Cardoso has disclosed that he told Khuliso Mudau last season that he will be a Caf Champions League winner in this campaign.
Cardoso revealed that when Sundowns lost this final against Egyptian side Pyramids last season, his defender Mudau was inconsolable.
The former Esperance coach said he told the player that he will cry tears of joy this season and that's what happened as they beat ASFAR 2-1 on aggregate to clinch the title.
They won last night at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in front of a packed venue in Rabat.
