Denis Onyango believes this evening's Caf Champions League final victory belongs to Mamelodi Sundowns

Denis Onyango sees Mamelodi Sundowns players taking to the podium after today's game against ASFAR in the Caf Champions League final second leg.

Onyango, who was part of the Sundowns team which won the trophy 10 years ago, said they cannot afford to let today's opportunity slip this evening.

Sundowns won 1-0 against ASFAR, a week ago today, in South Africa and are hoping to stop Miguel Cardoso's troops from winning their second Caf Champions League trophy.

"Yes, I believe this time around it’s our time,” said Onyango.

“The guys are really, really motivated to give the club a second star and they fought so hard. It’s been a very difficult season for us, very difficult group in Champions League, but we managed to come this far.

“So we can’t let it slip away.”

The game starts at 9pm.
