Legendary former England striker Wayne Rooney did not hold back his opinion about the halftime show during the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.

Commenting on the performers, the Englishman admitted that he respects many of the artists, but the show itself left him completely unimpressed.

"I like a lot of them artists but I thought it was crap," Rooney said live on BBC Sport, sparking a storm of reactions on social media.
