One of the most hotly debated moments of the third round of the World Cup group stage came in the Croatia vs Ghana match, where the African side equalized with a goal that stood after a lengthy VAR review.
In the 67th minute, Derrick Luckassen found the back of the Croatian net, but questions immediately arose regarding a possible offside by one of Ghana's players. The referee paused the game and spent several minutes reviewing the footage with the video assistants.
