Conte confirmed Osimhen's suspension. The Nigerian will no longer play for Napoli

Napoli has had a rocky start to the new season under new head coach Antonio Conte. One of the reasons is forward Victor Osimhen, who openly demanded a transfer but did not move.

After yesterday’s match against Parma, Conte commented on the decision to exclude the controversial striker from the first team.

“No player will be reintegrated into the team. Those who are not part of the project will remain outside it. We have made our decision and will continue to move forward in the same direction.”

It should be noted that Napoli decided to exclude Victor Osimhen from the squad for the Serie A season due to the final breakdown in relations between the Nigerian player and the club’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.
