Napoli's star striker risks being left without football for at least six months. What is the reason?

It seems Osimhen's situation has worsened, as according to Fabrizio Romano, Napoli has excluded him from their Serie A squad list. Additionally, the former Italian champions have taken away his number nine jersey and given it to Lukaku. It’s clear that they are trying to offload the player.

If Napoli has decided not to utilize Osimhen and no other club arranges his transfer, the striker risks being without playing time for at least six months—until the winter transfer window opens.
