UPDATE. Al Ahli will only sign either Osimhen or Toney
Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli has become the center of attention on the final day of the transfer window, generating a flurry of headlines.
This morning, it was reported that Al-Ahli had agreed on all terms for the transfer of Napoli's star striker Victor Osimhen. Later, top insiders revealed that Al-Ahli had also reached an agreement with Brentford's Ivan Toney.
However, Fabrizio Romano has clarified that Al-Ahli will sign only one of these forwards. Osimhen is their top priority, but he has yet to give the "green light" for the move. The situation is further complicated by Chelsea, who are still negotiating for the Nigerian striker and exploring ways to finalize the deal.
Osimhen is expected to make a final decision in the coming hours, which will determine which forward Al-Ahli will ultimately sign.
Al-Ahli finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season and will compete in the AFC Champions League.
