Chelsea's left winger and Ukraine international Mykhailo Mudryk has found himself at the center of a major legal and financial scandal in the UK. The London High Court has ruled to freeze the assets of the 25-year-old footballer, amounting to an eye-watering £2.5 million.

Details: In an exclusive interview with Sport-Express.ua, Themis Sagirov—the founder of JJDS Management Limited, the company that filed the lawsuit against the player—shared insights into the high-profile case. The court action stems from multimillion-pound debts Mudryk allegedly owes under sponsorship agreements.

The total claims against the footballer amount to around £6 million. This includes €2.4 million currently being considered by a court in Cyprus as lost profit (due to Mudryk allegedly refusing to sign contracts with certain companies, resulting in penalties), as well as a further $2.8 million claimed in the UK.

Beyond the asset freeze—which has directly impacted Mudryk's property, luxury cars, and bank accounts—the London High Court has imposed strict personal restrictions on the Chelsea star. Mudryk is now officially limited to spending no more than £5,000 per week.

On top of that, the footballer is required to provide documentary reports and explain the sources of all his income in detail.

Reminder: The Moroccan wonderkid is one step away from joining the Premier League—with Chelsea eyeing his signature.
