Cedric Kaze on Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 win over Durban City: We are hoping this win is setting up the remainder of our season for the better
Cedric Kaze hopes Kaizer Chiefs’ win over Durban City will catapult them out of the bad patch and slump they endured recently.
Chiefs beat Durban City 1-0 yesterday at FNB Stadium to halt an unwanted record which would have seen them go four games without a win.
Glody Lilepo scored the deciding goal in the second half to lift Amakhosi out of the pit which saw them lose ground in the PSL title race.
“It’s a game that we controlled well since the first minute. This is three points we plainly deserved,” said Kaze after the game.
“It’s gonna give everyone confidence, it’s gonna give everyone serenity to work and to have a good performance in our next game.
“The supporters have always been there for the team and everyone has to know that every team goes through a rough patch.
“We went through it and we hope we are getting out of it and from this performance, we can only improve.”
