CAF Confederation Cup: facing his former club, San Pedro, Kamagate promises to give his all for USM Alger

Kamagate Dramane and San Pedro will meet again on Sunday 8 February at the Laurent Pokou stadium.

The Ivorian club's striker joined USM Alger during the winter transfer window. Although this match is no longer important for the Ivorian striker's former club, which has already been eliminated, the same cannot be said for USM Alger.

For this match in the fifth round of the group stage of the 2025-26 CAF Confederation Cup, Kamagate Dramane promises to give his all, especially as his club wants to finish top of Group A.

"It's a personal motivation to play against my former team. I'm happy to be here. I'm still the same Kamagate, and I'll give my best to help my club win this match. Unfortunately, I haven't been following FC San Pedro's matches. I'm now focusing on myself and my new club. My integration in Algiers has gone well," the striker said at a press conference.
