CAF Champions League: ASEC Mimosas’ official line-up against MAS Fez revealed

The Ivorians are set to take on the Moroccans in a few moments’ time at the Stade d’Honneur in Meknes, for the first leg of the second preliminary round of the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League.

The stakes are high for both sides, who are vying for a place in the group stage of Africa’s most prestigious club competition. ASEC Mimosas head into this away fixture in Morocco aiming to put in a strong performance and secure a positive result ahead of the return leg in Abidjan.

To avoid any unpleasant surprises, however, the Mimos will need to show a completely different side to their game. The Ivorian club has been struggling in the league since the start of the season. Julien Chevalier’s side has suffered one defeat and two draws.

To keep their qualification hopes alive ahead of the return leg against MAS Fez, ASEC will need to show real character on 18 October. With just a few minutes to go before kick-off, scheduled for 6 pm GMT, manager Julien Chevalier has revealed his starting XI.
