The scheduled Bundesliga clash at the Weserstadion will not take place. The stadium in Bremen is not fit to host the Werder vs Hoffenheim match.
Details: Hoffenheim announced on its social media channels that the Bundesliga Matchday 16 fixture between Werder and Hoffenheim has been called off. The match was cancelled due to severe weather conditions, which led to massive ice buildup and heavy snowdrifts inside the stadium, making it unsafe to play.
Worth noting, this is already the second Bundesliga match postponed this round. Earlier, it was confirmed that the St. Pauli vs RB Leipzig game would also not take place due to heavy snowfall. Read more.
