BREAKING. India have won 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup

The final match of the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was played in Bridgetown, Barbados. India won the title for the first time since 2007.

In the deciding match, the "Men in Blue" defeated South Africa in 7 runs. India played bat first and scored 176 runs in their innings. After that, South Africa scored 169 runs when they played with the bat.

During the ongoing World Cup, India has won all the matches. In the group stage, the team defeated Ireland, Pakistan and USA, while the game against Canada was inconclusive.

In the second phase of the tournament, the Super 8s, the Men in Blue defeated Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Australia.

In the playoffs, India first defeated England without a chance and then defeated South Africa in the final of the tournament.

As a reminder, the World T20 World Cup will be hosted by two countries, Sri Lanka and India.
