Catalan giants Barcelona are continuing their search for emerging talents, looking to strengthen first their reserve side and, in the future, the senior squad. In the spotlight of their scouts is 18-year-old Club Brugge winger Jesse Bisiwu, who has already caught the eye of Europe's elite clubs.
Interest in the player has been confirmed by his agent, Mobindi Marti, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. According to him, the Catalans are indeed monitoring the progress of the young Belgian.
"Yes, Barcelona are paying close attention to Jesse and are among the clubs actively following his situation. But we're taking things calmly, managing the process step by step. Given the player's talent, it's only natural that there are already official contacts with several clubs, including major ones like Barcelona," the player's representative stated.
It's worth noting that the youngster's contract with Club Brugge runs until 2027. According to sources close to the player, his top priority is a move to Barcelona. Previously, he posted photos on social media wearing the Catalan club's shirt, which many interpreted as a clear hint at his preferences.
