Barcelona's main star risks missing the match against Las Palmas

The participation of Barcelona's top scorer, Robert Lewandowski, in the upcoming match against Las Palmas is in doubt.

According to Diario Sport, the experienced forward felt discomfort in his hip towards the end of yesterday's Euro 2024 qualifying playoff match against Wales, which Poland won in a penalty shootout to advance to the final stage of the tournament.

Initial assessments suggest that the discomfort was due to overexertion. Barcelona's coaching staff will evaluate the player's condition, but it is quite possible that Lewandowski will be given rest.

The Barcelona vs. Las Palmas match is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th. On April 10th, Barcelona will play the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals against PSG.

In the current season, the 35-year-old Polish forward has scored 20 goals and provided 9 assists in 39 matches.
