Barcelona faced Las Palmas in the 30th round of the Spanish La Liga. Under the guidance of Xavi, the hosts were expected to win to stay ahead of Girona. The visitors entered the game as a solid mid-table team but hadn't won in their last five league matches.

The game started according to the hosts' script, and on the fifth minute, Lewandowski opened the scoring, but the goal was disallowed for offside. Fifteen minutes later, Barcelona scored again, but the referees once again flagged for offside. Soon after, Las Palmas' chances in the game were dashed by a red card.

Despite having a numerical advantage, Barcelona struggled to break through Las Palmas' defense for a while. It wasn't until the middle of the second half that Raphinha found the net. Barcelona had plenty of opportunities to score more goals, but Rafinha's goal remained the only one in the match.

After this round, Barcelona will definitely remain in second place, trailing Real Madrid by five points. However, Real Madrid will play their 30th-round match against Athletic Bilbao tomorrow.

Barcelona 1-0 Las Palmas
Goal: Raphinha 59
Sent off: Alvaro Valles 25 (Las Palmas)
