Javier Vilajoana, one of the candidates in Barcelona's upcoming presidential elections, has revealed that he has already reached out to the management of Bayern Munich regarding the potential signing of England striker Harry Kane, should he win the vote.
We're missing a striker who can link up play and still be clinical in the box. He knows how to drop deep to connect with teammates, play as a central forward, and finish off attacks. His mobility and defensive work rate would add tremendous value to the team. He likes Barcelona. Obviously, we just need to discuss this option,
- Vilajoana told ESPN.
Let’s recall, Kane’s contract with Bayern runs until 2027. Earlier reports indicated that his release clause has dropped to around 60 million euros. If Barcelona decides to move for the 32-year-old, it would draw parallels to the signing of Robert Lewandowski four years ago.
