Despite Barcelona's financial situation they continue to look for ways to strengthen their team. Yesterday we reported that the Catalan club are interested in re-signing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid.

The Blaugrana continue to look for various reinforcements around the world and have set their sights on 22-year-old England Hull City striker Jaden Philogene. According to reports from Florian Plettenberg, Barcelona have already made an official offer to the Hull City club. The Catalans are interested in renting the player for a year with a buyout obligation. The amount of the deal will depend on Philogene's playing time and will be around €20-30 million.

The striker's contract with the English club runs until 2026, but Barcelona have evaluated him thoroughly and want to lure him to their team this summer.

Jaden Philogene went through Aston Villa's sports school and played for the main team in 2021. The striker also played for Stoke City and Cardiff City before moving to Hull City for €5.8 million last year.

Hull City's decision on Philogene is currently unknown.
