Bayer Leverkusen have announced the transfer of talent from Barcelona

Bayer Leverkusen has long been renowned for its ability to develop young talents from around the world. Today, the club announced the addition of a promising new player.

The German champions officially confirmed the signing of 16-year-old Italian defender Andrea Natali from Barcelona. In his first season, he will play for Bayer Leverkusen U-19 and will also be involved in training sessions with the first team.

Andrea Natali began his football journey in AC Milan's academy, from where he moved to Espanyol in the summer of 2020. A year later, he was noticed and brought into La Masia, Barcelona's famous youth academy.

Natali was a key player for Barcelona U-18, and this summer he became the U-17 European champion with the Italian national team.

It is worth noting that Bayer Leverkusen, after an undefeated season, won the Bundesliga for the first time in their history last season.
