The French midfielder couldn't cope with the packed schedule and is forced to take a break.
Details: According to insider and journalist Sergio Quirante, 26-year-old Real Madrid defensive midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni will miss today's match against Real Betis due to a left calf strain caused by overexertion.

It is reported that Tchouaméni's absence is a forced measure, as there was a risk of aggravating the injury, which could have jeopardized his participation in the World Cup. Not wanting to take any unnecessary risks, Arbeloa decided to leave Tchouaméni in Madrid.
It is also reported that Ceballos will be absent as well, but most likely for tactical reasons.
At the moment, Real Madrid sit second in La Liga with 73 points after 32 rounds, trailing league leaders Barcelona by nine points.
