Arne Slot speaks out about Julio Enciso incident after Liverpool triumph

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has spoken out about the controversial incident involving Wataru Endo and Julio Enciso during the Reds' 4-1 win over Ipswich Town.
In the second half, Enciso, who is on loan from Brighton, committed a dangerous foul on Endo, which required the intervention of the physios. However, referee Michael Salisbury limited himself to showing a yellow card. Slot said he saw no reason to challenge the referee's decision, highlighting the professionalism and resilience of his midfielder.

"When the foul happened, I thought: 'This doesn't look good'. The reaction of the players around me only confirmed it. Then I decided: 'Let's wait and see'," said Slot.
The coach also highlighted the importance of the early goal from Dominik Szoboszlai, which set the tone for the match. Cody Gakpo scored twice, while Mohamed Salah also scored.
"Today everything went perfectly. We started the game aggressively, dominated, and for 85 minutes the opponent hardly appeared in our half of the field," said Slot.
