«Ronaldo continues to amaze!» Adebayor recalled his first training session at Real Madrid

Emmanuel Adebayor, the former forward of Arsenal, Real Madrid, and other clubs, recalled his time spent at the Madrid giant. The Togolese player was loaned to Real Madrid in 2011, where he crossed paths with Cristiano Ronaldo, who surprised him during the very first training session.
Quote: "When I first arrived at Real, everyone knew that Ronaldo was a true professional, always arriving on time. I thought, 'I have a reputation as a bad guy, so at least for the first few weeks, I have to be the best version of myself.' They told me the first training session would start at 10:30, and it would be good if I came at least an hour earlier. I decided, 'Okay, my first training session, I can’t be late. I’ll arrive at 08:30, I’ll have two hours.'
I arrive at 08:45. The lights in the training complex are off, the locker room is dark. I'm happy, thinking, 'Wow, I'm the first one here. Now everyone will think I'm a true professional.' But suddenly, I hear some noise. I ask the physiotherapist, 'What’s that?' He replies, 'It’s Cristiano, he’s already swimming.' I'm shocked: 'Seriously? This guy never stops amazing me!'” – said Adebayor in an interview with the YouTube channel Optus Sport.
For those who may not remember, Adebayor had a career in England with Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City, and Crystal Palace, as well as in Monaco, Turkish clubs Başakşehir and Kayserispor, and he ended his football career in Paraguay with Olimpia.
