The central defender has made a mental recovery and is ready to step back onto the pitch.
Details: Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced the squad for the Spanish Super Cup semifinal, and Uruguay international Ronald Araujo is back on the list. For the 25-year-old, this is his first squad inclusion since November 25 after an extended period of mental recovery. His last appearance for Barcelona was in the Champions League match against Chelsea, where he was sent off with a red card.
Meanwhile, midfielder Gavi and defender Christensen did not travel to Saudi Arabia as they are still not fit to play. However, young talents Dro, Hofre, and Tommy have made the squad.
