The scandalous couple officially split some time ago. Although they have emphasized that they remain on friendly terms and stay in contact for the sake of their daughters, it is clear that the atmosphere between them is far from friendly.

Reports indicate that Icardi flew to Argentina to recover from a knee ligament injury. He visited his ex-wife’s home, and a heated argument ensued between them, which allegedly escalated into violent actions towards Wanda.

While Mauro has stated that the accusation of gender-based violence was an exaggeration on his ex-wife's part, he is required to appear in civil court in Buenos Aires today.
